Sevilla FC
From the will of the fans to the power of a feeling
Sevilla FC is a historical reference in Spanish football and after the Europa League titles and other recent sporting successes, it is also a reference at international level. To give new impetus to the achievement of its business and sports objectives, both nationally and internationally, we were commissioned by the Club to carry out a global branding project that included a strategic branding plan and the revitalisation of its identity.
Sevillian character
Sevilla FC is a historical reference in Spanish football and after the Europa League titles and other recent sporting successes, it is also a reference at international level. To give new impetus to the achievement of its business and sports objectives, both nationally and internationally, we were commissioned by the Club to carry out a global branding project that included a strategic branding plan and the revitalisation of its identity.
Based on this idea, we developed a powerful brand story that is nurtured by a purpose, values and communication territories and strengthens the links with the city of Seville and the Sevilla FC fans. At the same time, it lends the brand a modernity capable of connecting with the new generations and broadening its horizons beyond football.
A new bridge in Seville
In the same way, on a visual level, we were inspired by the rich imagery of the cultural background of Seville and its surroundings to provide the brand with a set of resources that enable it to express itself with elegance and passion.
The Montecatini typeface bridges the gap between folklore and soccer, adding a language of its own with respect to other clubs. The colour palette has Seville Red and Flag Red as the main colours, the latter referring to the city’s flag.
On the other hand, based on work with historians, we developed a set of patterns, textures, icons and illustrations inspired by architectural elements of Seville, such as the coats of arms that dress the facades of the city’s most emblematic buildings, the tile borders that adorn the streets, the Real Alcázar, the Triana neighbourhood, the Giralda, etc.
The same language
To bring this language to all forms of brand expression, we created a modular system inspired by the compositions and hierarchies of classic trade fair posters to develop a unique and differential visual and verbal style that adapts to any communication need.
